We had a fantastic day workshopping the play, and some excellent feedback from the invited audience - watch this space for the next rehearsed reading!

Self Portrait - Brendon O'Hanlon
As we're at the start of week two of rehearsing The Deep Space, now seems like a good time to introduce to our artist in residence, Brendon O'Hanlon!

Brendon specialises in drawing and painting portraits and he has joined us behind the scenes in the rehearsal room in order to observe, sketch and create portraits of the cast in action.

We'll be hosting an evening of Brendon's work one night at the Old Red Lion Theatre during the run of The Deep Space - check back soon to find out exactly when!

In the meantime you can find out more about Brendon and his work at www.Brendlefly.co.uk.

Sprocket Theatre is in need of a lovely male actor to read-in for the part of 'Liam' in our upcoming play, The Deep Space as our current Liam is unavailable on this day due to prior commitments.

Liam is a cheeky chappy northerner, mid-20s, bit rough round the edges,  cocky and confident with a nasty edge to him.

If you match this description, are available from 9.30am to 4pm on Friday 1 February, can get to Newington Green, north London , have EXCELLENT sight reading skills  and are willing to join a company for the day then please email me your CV with link to your showreel.

This role is unpaid, but we can provide lunch and offer you a free ticket to a performance of The Deep Space.

Please note, this is NOT a casting, we just need a helpful actor to step in to Liam's shoes for the day to help us do a run of the play. We will, however, add you to our mailing list and keep you in touch with future castings.

[email protected]

Thanks!
