Can you Adam and Eve it? Today's the day! Today we clamber on to the train at Kings Cross and journey 4.5 hours north to Edinburgh!
It's been a long time coming but it's still surprising how quickly it's come round.
With the cast of THE RULES: SEX, LIES & SERIAL KILLERS and Team Sprocket leaving London imminently, nostalgia has crept over us so we thought this'd be a good moment to indulge ourselves with a little trip down memory lane...
A rough first version of The Rules script is created by writer Lila and thrown onto the stage at the Old Red Lion Theatre in June for a one night experiment. We sell out and reviews and feedback are universally positive! Lila goes back to tinker with the script...
Third draft workshop and rehearsed reading at the Actor's Centre.
Artwork for the show is created with the help and talents of Rob Fellman and Keif Gwinn:
Our Edinburgh Fringe venue is confirmed - we're off to theSpace on the Mile for 21 performances!
(Edinburgh accommodation is booked pronto.)
Director Jez Pike comes on board and begins work with Lila to whip the script into Fringe shape.
Associate Producer Isabel Dixon joins the team and the London preview venue sorted - 2 nights at Theatre503 on 20 & 21 July.
Auditions held and our delicious team of actors cast:

Designer Suneeda joins the team and gets to work with Jez creating our fantastic set:
Team Sprocket takes over the Rag Factory and rehearsals finally begin:
Half way into rehearsals Sprocket host The Rules Launch party to help us on our way to the Fringe - guests are invited to the first ever meeting of the Psycho-Not-So-Anonymous support group:
Theatre503 rehearsals come to an end and the set is built:
20 & 21 July
THE RULES: SEX, LIES AND SERIAL KILELRS previews with two sold-out shows at Theatre503:
A quick dash back in to the rehearsal room to re-stage the play from Theatre503's end-on space to theSpace on the Mile's corner space Edinburgh (and to practice the all important get-in / get-out:
It all sounds so simple doesn't it? It's been a huge amount of hard work from the whole team, and we’ve barely scratched the surface of all the behind the scenes work of chasing emails, hiring vans, working on our social media campaign and the actual selling of tickets.
But we're as ready as we can be, and we are hugely excited for Edinburgh - hope to see you there!
